Mr. Pius Chan immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in the mid 70’s to pursue high school and university education. After graduation from UBC, Pius founded InfoSpec Systems Inc. in 1985 and currently has offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and China plus a strong reseller network throughout North America and Asia. InfoSpec provides world-class Point-of-Sale and ERP solutions in the Hospitality and Retail industries.

In addition, Pius owns InfoSpec Holdings which has a number of subsidiaries including real estate development, leasing and financing in Canada. Recent acquisitions in China include a chemical manufacturing plant in the city of Jiaxing with annual revenue exceeding US$200 million, plus a warehousing and logistics company with dock facility currently under construction in the Zhejiang province.

Pius is a past board member of the North Fraser Port Authority, past director of Richmond Chamber of Commerce, president of the Chinese Federation of Commerce of Canada, president of the Sponsorship Committee of the BC Regiment 2381 BCR (Irish Fusiliers) RCACC, honorary president of Global Union for Tsung Tsin & Hakka Association, honorary advisor of the Guangzhou Huadu Benevolent Association of Canada, honorary president of Hunan Fellow Association of Vancouver, advisor of Comox CanadAsia Business Society, advisor of Sino CanAm Education & Technology Society, and honorary advisor of Canada Asia Pacific Business Association.

Pius was a charter member and past president of the Vancouver Metropolitan Lions Club. In April 2007, he formed and became the charter president of the Vancouver Diamond Lions Club – currently the largest Lions Club in B.C. Pius actively involves in community services. He has chaired various fundraising events and has sponsored numerous charity organizations including the Richmond RCMP, BC Crime Prevention Association, B.C. Cancer Agency, B.C. Children’s Hospital, JPC Community Services, Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Cancer Society, SUCCESS, CHIMO, Canadian Diabetics Association, and Richmond Hospital, etc.
